Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the United States and Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She works for ESPN and works as the SportsCenter anchor for news. She was hired by ESPN in the year of 2016. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is native to two languages. When she was just nine years old, Collins's capacity to communicate in two languages led to her obtaining the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant producer for Univision. In her position she was able to be a part of national show producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was recruited to the CBS station as the sports reporter. Then, in 2009 the reporter relocated from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as and Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley in Texas and became an editor for KNVO48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. Also, she would fill in on occasion as a weather and sport anchor. She created pieces for Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. She also hosted her own local Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. She was anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. In the same capacity, she worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) as well as Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta Collins' parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. She was born November 22, 1985, in Mexico City. She has an elder sister. Her family relocated to Miami in 1992 following the departure from Mexico. After a while the family split up, and in 1995 Fabio Fajardo was remarried. He died from kidney cancer in 2006. Her residence was with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister over the summer and was given a job. Antonietta is a senior in high school, yet she was clear about the career she was looking for. So while assessing if Mount Union would be a good fit for her Antonietta visited the university. Then she was enthralled with the university. And they offered her major. She graduated from school and was attended the university with an undergraduate major in media studies. Her relationship lasted for a while with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the director for WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a member. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm for journalism deeply touched her. As a result, she determined to meet his demands, never letting him down.
